Services

Initial Consultation:  We will schedule a free consultation to discuss our sales agreement, set dates and access items to be sold.  We will discuss any concerns or special attention items you may have and any questions will be answered.


Preparation:  We will sort, stage and price all items to be sold.  The time varies for this.  It could be anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks, depending on the size of your estate.  We will take the time to carefully research and price your valuable items and collectables and will call upon additional professional appraisers, if needed.


Marketing:  After all the preparations are complete, we will take photos for advertising the sale.  We currently advertise in estatesales.net, craigslist, client email list and street signage.


Sale:  You will find our staff to be a very professional, considerate team.  We are always friendly to our customers and enjoy helping them and making them feel comfortable.  Most of our sales take place on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  For smaller sales we offer a Friday and Saturday sale.  It just depends on the size of the estate. Special attention is given to your fragile items and they will be handled and placed with care. We accept cash and major credit cards (except American Express).


After Sale:  Southern Sisters will provide you with a written list of items sold and the sale price.  This list and your proceeds will be mailed to you after all payments have been deposited and cleared.  This will be no longer than 2 weeks from the end of the sale. Anything that is left from the sale will be your decision.   Sometimes we will have a customer do a buy out of everything that is left at the end of the sale or we have charities that we will be happy to recommend.
